Off Road Bikes

#Safe4Summer - Whilst on Patrol around Salford Quays, Sergeant Atherton has seen a group of youths on 5 surron style electric bikes, riding along the Mariners Canal. Sergeant Atherton chased the bikes on foot once they started to make off. While chasing the bikes one of the individuals has fallen of there bike and made off leaving his bike behind.  
The bike has been seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.

Do you know where off road bikes are being stored in Salford? 
If you are aware of  any individuals/address/storage units/garages etc which are being used to store illegally used off road bikes, please be encouraged to report this to us.

Sergeant Atherton from Salford Quays and Ordsall Neighbourhood team is committed to targeting individuals who are using these bikes to commit criminal offences and riding them in a anti-social manner. 
We are encouraging anyone who has information regarding these bikes to report this to the police via 101 Non emergency line, GMP online chat or via crime stoppers anonymously  on 0800555111.
